season 3 – 2024-2025
The series results from a vision to create a platform at the Technion for dialogue and inspiration between scientists, engineers, artists, and musicians.
Each session features informal conversations, presentations of experiments and research, a lecture, and a live performance involving faculty members, guest artists, students, and staff.
The series is driven by the belief that art and science share meaningful common ground and that interdisciplinary encounters offer more than exposure to new ideas — they create opportunities for innovation and discovery. The series was initiated by pianist Dr. Orit Wolf during her appointment as the first Artist in Residence on campus in the program’s inaugural year (2022–2023), a program established by Technion President Prof. Uri Sivan. It has hosted dozens of scientists and guest artists, including Nobel Prize laureates.
